Dr. Jennifer Rumancik,
Feel free to visit my website with more info on services, resources, and blog: http://www.drjenniferrumancik.com/
Jennifer is grateful to have combined her personal passion for health, wellness and natural remedies into a career where she can collaborate with others to get to their personal best.
She was an academic scholarship recipient to the University of Regina, where she majored in Biology and double-minored in Biochemistry and Fine Arts, graduating with Honours. She later went on to pursue her Naturopathic Doctor, ND designation at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. She now calls Vancouver home and has practiced in downtown Vancouver as well as at a small community in SK.
Being a lifelong learner, she is currently working on her BOIRON Homeopathic Certificate to add to her expertise in clinical diagnosis, nutrition, nutraceuticals, herbal medicine, traditional Asian Medicine, and Acupuncture.
Conditions she commonly treats includes:
Indigestion (bloating, SIBO, constipation, diarrhea, heart burn)
Female health (PCOS, dysmenorrhea, infertility, fibroids)
Diabetes / Insulin resistance
Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, etc.)
General health and well-being
Growing up on a prairie farm and working for many years as a botanist and conservationist has educated Jennifer on the healing powers of herbs, plants, and nature. She personally made and sold natural body-care products collecting many of the herbs from the prairies herself.
In her spare time, you can find her practicing yoga, playing volleyball or pickleball, reading, painting, or cooking. She also loves hiking and dreams about visiting as many national parks as possible in her lifetime. In the near future she is hoping to start a hiking group; until then she is excited to be joining the Abbotsford Midwifery and Wellness group!
